_{The library of Inner Mongolia University was first built in 1957,and after more then 40 years' construction,it has developed into a large-scale comprehensivelibrary with 11,000 square meter m0ohr27i.xbm m0ohr28a.xbm m0ohr28e.xbm m0ohr29h.xbm m0ohr2a2.htm m0op523a.htm moyang.ram floor area and more than 1,000,000 books and documents,Among these there are 500,000 books in Chinese, 200,000 in foreign languages,50,000 in Mongolia,10,000 Chinese ancient books, 40,000 bound volumes of periodicals both in Chinese and foreign languages,620 kinds of non-book materials; and it orders 1,400 kinds of newspaper in Chinese and Mongolian.

The library had an documents proteeting system furetioning for teaching and scieatific research, It also puts emphasis on collecting documents in Monglison Study and documents of hotanic-ecnogy, thus formos a ethnic and reginal Charicteristic with is convenicent to the teaching and scientific research of the key subject of our university,such as Mongolian Study and ecology,therefore it a has been prasied by Scholars in an outside of our country.
The library now has become a center of documents and information of the universit On academic organ,and one of the libraries with the largest collection of books and great varieties of documents in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. There are 9 departments and 1 office in the
