On February 24, 2023, IMU held the meeting of cadres and announced a cadre appointment.
Approved by the CPC Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region(IMAR), Wu Limin was appointed president of IMU. Zhang Qin, deputy director general of the Organization Department of the CPC Committee of IMAR was present at and addressed the meeting. Sun Wei, director of the 4th Division of Cadres of the Organization Department of the CPC Committee of IMAR announced the appointment. The meeting was chaired by Liu Zhiyu, secretary of IMU CPC Committee. In terms of his own development and work, Wu delivered his acceptance address at the meeting.

A brief introduction to Wu Limin
Wu Limin, male, Han ethnic group, was born in Xiaogan, Hubei province. He was deputy secretary of the CPC Committee of IMU, executive vice president of IMU. He is professor, PhD supervisor, distinguished professor with Changjiang Program of the Ministry of Education, leader of innovative research group of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, professor with State Key Laboratory of Molecular Engineering of Polymers and member of the Material Division of the 8th Science & Technology Commission of the Ministry of Education.
