
Inner Mongolia University participated in national and regional video teleconferences on school safety at IMU’s north campus in Hohhot, the capital of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Feb 28.
During the event, attendees discussed various school safety issues, as well as the best ways to keep students safe.
Chen Baosheng, minister of education, called for more work to strengthen security on campus, including using the latest technologies to help tackle crime.
In addition, he proposed six new safety measures for education providers to adopt.
Following the national conference, Inner Mongolia held a regional conference to stress the importance of relevant policies for school safety.
Zhu Bingwen, the Party secretary of IMU and Chen Guoqing, the president of IMU, attended both events.
