In a bid to ensure the safety of staff and students, Inner Mongolia University (IMU) in Hohhot, capital of North China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, conducted a series of safety checks at university laboratories on March 14.
During the inspections, it was found that in general, safety at the university has vastly improved, but that there are still some issues that need resolving.
Inspectors concluded that laboratories need to ensure they run through safety checklists properly, maintain better standards of hygiene, and improve their efficiency in tackling safety issues that are brought to their attention.
