Mongolian students studying at Inner Mongolia University participated in the 6th Sino-Mongolian youth forest planting event held at Saihan district in Hohhot, capital of North China’s autonomous region, on April 27.
IMU’s Mongolian students and over 100 Chinese students participated in the tree planting activity. During the activity, IMU’s Mongolian students also visited the forest fire prevention headquarters of Saihan district to learn about the its activities.
The planting of the Sino-Mongolian youth forest is expected to promote understanding between the young people of China and the region on the economic and social development of the latter and further strengthen bonds between the youth of the two.
