In order to do a top job safely providing prepared meals for returned students, the catering management and services center of the logistics department at Inner Mongolia University (IMU) – located in Hohhot, capital of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region – pulled out all the stops, according to IMU officials.
Officials said they prepared in advance and strictly implemented novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control measures, to ensure the absolute health and safety of the diets being consumed by the first batch of students who returned to campus.
At the present stage, according to IMU officials, the campus canteen encourages students to have meals during off-peak hours and in batches and to do so, the canteen has prolonged its serving times.
At the same time, the canteen strictly controls and publishes the price of meals in a timely manner. It also adjusts the variety of meals every day and ensures that there are eight different dishes, two kinds of soup and three kinds of staple foods for lunch and dinner every day.
Furthermore, by means of improved cooking methods, the canteen is also making every effort to ensure that the returned students eat healthily and safely.
At present, the catering services are operating smoothly, officials said.
They added that the catering management and services center of the logistics department will continue to focus on various prevention and control and food safety work -- and do a great job for the next batches of students returning to the school.
