The project of the construction of the platform of the digitalization of Northeast Asia Language Resources undertaken by IMU has been progressing smoothly recently. On November 29, 2020, experts and scholars organized by the Northeast Asia Language Resources Center conducted inspections of the application software developed and written resources submitted by eight scientific research institutes and suppliers, namely, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China National Institute of Standardization, iFLYTEK, Chengdu Unionlib Technology Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia Orhon Technology Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia Zhenyun Information Technology Service Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia Menksoft Mongolian Culture Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia Wolun Science & Technology Co., Ltd. for acceptance.
Specialists and experts from renowned scientific research institutes and universities in China, including Research Fellows Zhang Quan, Li Miao and Wu Jian from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof. Wang Houfeng From Peking University, Prof. Bi Yude from Fudan University, Engineer Chen Zhuang from China National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee, Research Fellow Chen Yuzhong from China National Institute of Standardization, Research Fellow Bai Shuangcheng from Academy of Social Sciences of Inner Mongolia, Prof. Cecenbator, Prof. Tuya, Prof. Yurong, Associate Prof. Ma Xuebin from IMU were invited to attend the meeting. Prof. Dahurbayar, director of the Section of Social Sciences of IMU, Prof. Cecengova, director of the Section of United Front Work of IMU and Li Huimin, vice director of the Assets Office of IMU attended and chaired the meeting.
Nine sub-projects including multilingual search engines, platform construction and application software, text machine translation system, text conversion software as well as code for standardization, multilingual resources, monolingual corpus and cloud leasing were inspected for acceptance this time.
