An international video conference among IMU, the German Center of the University of Munich, GUS (Global University System) of Germany and GISMA Business School was held online on the afternoon of May 18, 2021.

Attendees of the conference on the German side include Prof. Melanie Moll, dean of the German Center of the University of Munich, Prof. Stefan Stein, president of GISMA Business School and professor in International Business Management, Prof. Lars van der·Leeuw-Holtvoeth, COO of GUS and vice president of GISMA Business School, Prof. Fotis Pagageorgiou, director of the Division of International Cooperation of GISMA Business School, Prof. Ralf Frank, professor of Economics of GISMA Business School and Mr. He Linfu, Mr. Li Xiaolong and Mr. Yang Kaiyuan, representatives of the German side in China.

Prof. Erhimbayar, the vice president of IMU, gave a brief introduction to the history, geographical location, development of scientific research and the history of cooperation and exchanges with universities and scientific research institutes from Germany, and expressed the willingness of IMU to further friendly ties with its German counterparts. Prof. Melanie Moll, dean of the German Center of the University of Munich and Prof. Stefan Stein, president of GISMA Business School and professor in International Business Management gave introductions to the University of Munich, the German Course Association of the University of Munich, GUS education group and GISMA Business School respectively.

The conference witnessed the signing ceremony of agreement on cooperation and exchanges between IMU and the German Center of the University of Munich, GUS education group of Germany and GISMA Business School, the unveiling ceremony for the IMU Test Center for DSH tests (B1 & B2), and the ceremony for inviting Prof. Stefan Stein as visiting professor of IMU, who gave an online lecture entitled Financing in the New Age of Digintalization and Climate Protection Evidence and Action Points for the faculty members and students of the School of Economics and Management of IMU.

The unveiling ceremony

The international conference held under the circumstances of the normalization of the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic will further promote IMU’s cooperation and exchanges with German universities and institutions and facilitate deeper and wider cooperation and exchanges in scientific research, collaborative teaching, student exchanges and other fields. The establishment of the Test Center will make it easier for students of IMU to study German and take DSH tests.
