A signing ceremony between Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences from Germany and IMU is held online on December 15.

Wu Limin, president of IMU, Wang Shubin, dean of the School of Electronic Information Engineering, Mandala, dean of the Department of Civil Engineering of the Transportation Institute and Duan Manfu, director of the Division of International Cooperation & Exchange are present at the signing ceremony. During his visit of Germany and Belgium from October 22 to 29 in 2023, President Wu Limin of IMU conducted in-depth exchanges with Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences on double degree project in electric engineering and civil engineering and reached initial agreement. Both sides decide to sign an agreement of cooperation online as soon as possible to carry out substantial cooperation. With the signing ceremony as an important milestone for the bilateral cooperation, both sides state their willingness to carry out in-depth and win-win cooperation in joint education of students, mutual visits of teaching staff and joint scientific research and their intention to urge relevant divisions to contact each other proactively for launching specific projects of cooperation.
