On May 3rd, on the occasion of China’s Youth Day, Li Jiheng, Secretary of Party Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Director of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress analyzed the spirit conveyed in the speech of the General Secretary Xi Jinping about the recent investigation about Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and vividly interpreted the grand blueprint of the Inner Mongolia 10th Party Congress of Representatives, speaking glowing of youth and dream, to commemorate the 98th anniversary of the May 4th Movement, and opened the 2017 100 Seminars on Situation and Policy by delivering the first lecture named "To Build a Bright and Beautiful Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and to Realize the Great Chinese Dream".
Secretary Li pointed out that it was an important milestone in the history of Inner Mongolia that General Secretary Xi Jinping visited the Region and delivered an important speech in January 2014. He, based on the reality of the Region, elaborated profoundly General Secretary Xi’s important requirement of watching and helping each other, and explained key tasks of "Four Focuses" and the rich connotation and essential meaning of the goal to create a more beautiful country border of Northern China. He said that Inner Mongolia’s tomorrow will be better; the country border of Northern China will be more beautiful, with the strong Party leadership and loving care centered on General Secretary Xi, under the joint efforts by the cadres and masses of different nationalities.
When interpreting the spirit of 10th Party Congress of Representatives of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Secretary Li showed the grand blueprint and glorious picture of the future development of the Region, through real data and pictures, which boosted the teachers and students’ strong confidence in constructing a modern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
“My homeland is the beautiful grassland, with flowers blooming everywhere...” when mentioning that the region was forging a famous tourist destination both at home and abroad, with the folksong of My Homeland, the Beautiful Grassland played in the hall, Secretary Li along with teachers and students expressed the love of hometown while enjoying the idyllic prospect described in the music.
"The old must be replaced by the new", Secretary Li said affectionately to encourage young people to face up to the special historical challenge. He wished that the majority of young people in our region should respond to the call of the Party, actively adhere to the development of the great practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and the hot practice of construction of modern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. At the same time, the youth should strengthen the ideals and beliefs unremittingly armed with theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, especially series of important spirit conveyed in the speech by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and constantly enhance the self-confidence. The young should also have a perfect mastery of real competence to innovate and create, adhere to moral standards, to work hard to construct a beautiful country border of Northern China, dedicated to realizing the dream of rejuvenation of the Chinese nation
