The Celebration of the 95th Anniversary of the Communist Youth League of China and the May Fourth Commendation was Held at IMU on May 4th. Party secretary of IMU Zhu Bingwen, Vice-president of IMU Erhenbayer, Zhao Ji, and Party branch secretaries and League branch secretaries of IMU, award-winning representatives, and students participated in the celebration and commendation.
The May Fourth commendation was held after the inaugural ceremony with Chinese national anthem. Sa Qier, deputy secretary of Youth League Committee of IMU, announced the commendation decision. Awards including excellent League Members, Model League Cadres and Excellent League Branches, “Best League Branch” and “Best League Secretary” in 2016, “Star of Self-Improvement” and “Outstanding Youth Group” of IMU in 2016, and “Excellent League Branch at IMU in 2016” were issued by school authorities. During the commendation, Tang Suge, the representative of “Best League Secretary”, Guo Qi, representative of “Outstanding Youth Group”, and Liu Xuefeng, representative of “ Excellent League Branches” from College of Computer Science (College of Software Engineering ), delivered speeches.
At the end of the commendation, Secretary Zhu Bingwen draw a conclusion. He mentioned that IMU students should try to be with “Six Havings” (with dreams, goal, duty, contribution, quality, and self-cultivation), which were put forward by President Xi Jinping for contemporary university students. Besides, Mr. Zhu brought up three expectations for students and model League cadres and expressed blessings to all students.
