On the afternoon of January 9th, the School Federation of Overseas Chinese and Overseas Friendship Association organized the New Year’s Tea Party for returned overseas Chinese and students. There were several leaders attending the fraternity including Shi Qing, the president of Overseas Chinese Federation of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Zhao Ji, the president of School Overseas Friendship Association and vice-president of IMU, Erhun Bayar, the vice-president of School Overseas Friendship Association and the vice-president of IMU. As the representative of School Federation of Overseas Chinese, director of Returned Overseas Friendship Association and vice-president of the Organization Department of the Party Committee of (United Front Work Department) IMU, Siqin Gaowa attended the tea party. The party was presided over by Du Xiaodong, the director of the Organization Department of the Party Committee (United Front Work Department) of IMU.

In the tea party, director Du Xiaodong, on behalf of the Organization Department of the Party Committee (United Front Work Department) of IMU, gave a warm welcome to the representative of School Federation of Overseas Chinese and council member of Overseas Friendship Association, and expressed New Year wishes to them and their relatives.

Shi Qing, the president of Overseas Chinese Federation in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, gave a lecture about the reform work of Overseas Chinese Federation and analyzed the related policies. After that, attendees talked about and expressed New Year wishes to each other. They gave some useful advice on school’s construction of “Double First-rate”; how to make the School Federation of Overseas Chinese and Overseas Friendship Association play a role in providing talents and intellectual support for the development of IMU and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region; how to make good use of the source of overseas talents; do a good job in overseas Chinese affairs and returned overseas works.
