On January 9th, the Social Science Community of Inner Mongolia University was established and the launching ceremony of the big think tank was held at Inner Mongolia University. Researcher Hang Shuanzhu, the Autonomous Region Party Secretary and chairman of the Federation of Social Sciences, Zhu Guiyou, minister of community management and social science award, Zhang Lan, deputy minister of community management and social science department awards, Zhu Bingwen, deputy secretary of the Party committee secretary, Chen Guoqing, president, Li Xiuliang, the Commission Secretary, Zhang Jiwei, the vice presiden as well as Ban Shiliang, Tie Yong, Er Bayar attended the meeting. In addition, the ministry of science committee, professor of the school committee, responsible person of the relevant departments, the dean of liberal arts and teacher representatives attended the meeting.

The meeting was presided over by the headmaster, Chen Guoqing.

At the meeting, Zhang Yu, the Minister of Social Sciences of the Autonomous Region, read the Approval of the Establishment of the Federation of Social Sciences in Inner Mongolia University. Comrade Hang Shuanzhu, the Secretary of the Party committee and Chairman of the Regional Federation of Social Sciences, made a speech.

Zhu Bingwen, Secretary of the Party Committee of our university, President Chen Guoqing and Hang Shuanzhu, the Secretary and Chairman of the Party Committee of Autonomous Region Social Science Association unveiled the “Think Tank at Inner Mongolia University" together.

The establishment of Social Sciences Association and the think tank within the Inner Mongolia University is an important measure to seize the opportunity to further the development of philosophy and social science research under the background of the prosperity and development of philosophy of social science.

It is known that during the “12th Five-Year” period, the research projects and fund in Inner Mongolia University increased a lot, which achieved a breakthrough of major national project and significantly enhanced the ability to undertake major projects. And scientific research quality was significantly improved, winning new breakthroughs. In addition, philosophy and social science research results had a higher quality, and there were a number of teachers who published academic works, which have huge influence in the autonomous region, even in China, and made a great contribution to the development of the discipline and the economic development. Finally, the quantity and quality of academic papers have been greatly improved.

In 2016, the Mongolian research center of Inner Mongolia University was selected as the source of the Chinese think tank index (CTTI) in the first batch. And our school, jointing with The Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the Autonomous Region, has set up a local legislative research center in Inner Mongolia, which has undertaken the legislative evaluation of local regulations. And then, Incorrupt Research Center was founded by jointing with Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Education Department, which actively carries out anti-corruption, the cultivation of incorrupt government theory and practicing research, and provides decision-making consultation service for the Autonomous Region to build an incorrupt government and anti-corruption work.

Inner Mongolia University has continuously improved its social services, and has actively fostered the creation of a new type of “think tank”. During the “Twelfth five-year” period, the school paid attention to promoting and building the relationship among Mongolia, Mongolian research and Decision-making Consultation Agencies--the “Mongolian Research Center” and “Mongolia Research Center” have become the important base of the country to make scientific research and decision-making consultation on the relationship with Mongolia.
