IMU's first batch of students returns to campus

The first batch of students at Inner Mongolia University (IMU) in Hohhot, the capital city of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, went back to campus on May 15, according to IMU officials.

IMU officials said that to ensure the safety of the students, the school arranged special vehicles to pick up them up at the railway station and the airport.

It also set up epidemic monitoring points at these places for carrying out identity verifications, luggage disinfections, taking body temperatures and disinfecting the shoes of returning students.

Those coming back to school must provide a green health code and enter the campus after identification and temperature measurements.

At the same time, the school also prepared and distributed an anti-epidemic knowledge manual, disposable medical masks, thermometers and other anti-epidemic materials to returned students.

IMU official said that for dining -- after identity verification, body temperature measurements and hand washing and disinfections -- students can queue up to order meals at an interval of more than one meter and sit at a table for one person according to the signs.
