A Practical Chinese-Mongolian Dictionary of Law
The compilation of A Practical Chinese-Mongolian Dictionary of Law officially started in 2017. As one of the major participating units, IMU attached great significance to the project and appointed Prof. Chen Guoqing, vice secretary of the CPC Committee and president of IMU, Prof. Ding Wenying, Prof. Zayaa and Prof. Manglaihu as members of the editorial board, Prof. Ding Wenying as one of the chief editors, and Prof. Manglaifu and Prof. Narenchogtu as associate editors. In addition, other relevant faculty members of the School of Law, especially those teaching bilingually in both Chinese and Mongolian worked as editors and took part in the entire process of the compilation of the dictionary. Adhering to the principle of “being professional, standardized and necessary”, the entire editorial and translating staff did an enormous amount of effective work from the selection of Chinese entries to the translation, modification and proofreading of Mongolian entries to ensure the uniformity, accuracy, normalization and standardization of the dictionary. The publication of A Practical Chinese-Mongolian Dictionary of Law stands as another major landmark achievement of IMU in serving the society in these years.
