As is shown by Essential Science Indicators(ESI) of Clarivate Analytics on January 21, 2021(Beijing Time), the discipline of environment(ecology) of IMU has entered top 1% of ESI. The statistics of ESI this time range from January 1, 2010 to October 31, 2020.

In recent 4 months, three disciplines of IMU that have entered top 1% of ESI around the world are chemistry, engineering and environment(ecology). The fact that 3 disciplines of IMU have entered top 1% of ESI in such short time reflects the improving level of IMU’s basic research and its increasing academic influence.
