On the afternoon of June 6, 2021, the inaugural meeting on the Committee on Intelligent Processing of Multi-Lingual Information (CIPMLI) of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence and the First Symposium on Intelligent Processing of Multi-Lingual Information of Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Congress 2021 was held in Hangzhou City, China.

After the inaugural meeting, the Symposium on the Intelligent Processing of Multi-Lingual Information of Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Congress 2021 was held. The leading experts in the field gave high-quality reports on the latest developments and key problems in intelligent processing of multi-lingual information. Gao Guanglai, vice president of IMU, focused on the intelligent processing of information in Mongolian in his report, shared with other meeting attendees a series of innovative ways and solutions proposed by his team for the characteristics languages of minorities have: a complicated morphology, a large vocabulary, large stock of foreign words and scarce resources and introduced the application of the intelligent application system and platforms concerned in such fields as publicity, publishing, education , judiciary and administration.
