On the afternoon of August, 27, 2021, a ceremony for signing cooperation agreement was held by the research team led by Prof. Li Guangpeng that is affiliated with IMU's State Key Laboratory of Reproduction Regulation and Breeding of Grassland Livestock(SKLRRBGL) and Inner Mongolia Fengyu Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Technological Co; Ltd(IMFAAHCL). The agreement is intended to establish the long-term cooperation between two sides for the innovation of germplasms of high-end beef cattle and the development of the industry concerned. Recently, the work concerned has successively been launched.

Based on the advantages the Prof. Li Guangpeng-led research team of SKLRRBGL has in the technologies for reproduction and breeding of beef cattle and those for germplasms innovation and the advantages that Aodu Asset Management Company of IMU has in setting up application and research platforms for industry-university cooperation and hatching and transforming research achievements, IMU will have a deep and long-term cooperation with IMFAAHCL in such fields as germplasm innovation of high-yield and high-quality beef cattle, breeding of high-end beef cattle and development of beef products concerned, development of smart breeding technologies and intelligent and informationized ranch-serving system and healthy breeding technologies. Besides, the beef cattle breeding base of IMFAAHCL is listed as one of the bases for the laboratory's scientific research and students' internship, which can serve the development of IMU's disciplines and the university's talent-training.
