On the morning of December 12, 2023, the opening ceremony of Silk Road International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Univesity, Research and Application 2023 took place in Xi’an City. Over 200 people attended the conference. Dabhurbayar, vice president of IMU and Li Na with the Division of International Cooperation and Exchange of IMU, were present at the opening ceremony.

At the conference, the scientific research achievements in industry, university, research and application by 6 PhD student supervisors of IMU were exhibited. They include “Establishment of Bovine Embryonic Stem Cell Lines and Differentiation of the Stem Cells into Gametes” of Prof. Bao Siqin with the School of Life Sciences of IMU(SLS), “Molecular Mechanism of OsPRAF1’s Regulation of Primary Root Elongation of Rice” of Prof. Qi Yanhua with SLS, “Exploration of Owls’ Systematic Evolution among Terrestrial Birds” of Prof. Wang Ning with SLS, “Development and Application of Commonly-Used RNA 5-Cap Systematic Qualification Technology” of Prof. Wang Jin with SLS. “Screening and Assaying of the Host Genes Related to BPIV3 with Bovine Genome-Scale CRISPR/Cas9 Knockout Library” of Research Fellow Wang Guojun with SLS and “A Study of Synthesis, Reactivity and Catalytic Activity of Redox Activated Rare Earth Metal Complexes” of Prof. Zhang Hao with the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.

On the afternoon of December 12, 2023, Dabhurbayar, vice president of IMU, visited Chang’an University at the invitation of Fan Wen, vice president of Chang’an University and had a discussion with Fan and his colleagues.

Fan Wen introduced the developments of Chang’an University in the discipline building, talent cultivation, scientific research collaboration, service of the society and internationalization. Mr. Fan hoped that with the exchange Chang’an University could carry out the in-depth cooperation with IMU in scientific research and cultural and educational exchange to make two universities’ advantages complementary to each other and two universities develop together.

Dabhurbayar introduced IMU’s development history. He said that because faced with the challenges in a new era IMU and Chang’an University are burdened with the task of development and located in the central and western parts of China, they should give full paly to their respective advantages and collaborate further with each other to promote the closer cooperation between two universities.
