On the afternoon of December 6, 2023, Prof. Zhang Fan with College of Energy Materials and Chemistry of IMU invited Doctor Li Laiqun, associate editor of the Nature Communications, to come to IMU to deliver an academic lecture. The lecture was chaired by Prof. Zhang Fan and over 200 teachers and students from the majors concerned attended the lecture.

The title of Doctor Li’s lecture is “Publishing with Nature Journals”. Li systematically elaborated on the journals of the Nature Publishing Group, essentials in writing articles for Nature journals and key issues after the articles are submitted to these journals. He also answered the questions raised by the teachers and students about the problems they met in submission of their articles to the Nature journals.

The lecture was brilliant, vivid and enlightening. It provided the reference and help to the teachers and students for their submission of articles to the Nature journals and made the attendees have good knowledge of the rules and procedures for the submission of high-level articles to Nature journals and further understanding of the Nature journals.
