Dr. Li Ze from the School of Physical Science and Technology Publishes Latest Research as a Letter in Physical Review A

Recently, Dr. Li Ze, a young faculty member at the School of Physical Science and Technology of our university, led his Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics (AMO) team to a new breakthrough in the field of magneto-optics. For the first time, the team revealed that asymmetric silicon nanoparticle dimers can achieve ideal magnetic light scattering under specific conditions. The related research, titled “Ideal Magnetic Resonance Scatterers in the Visible Range”, has been accepted in Letter format by the internationally renowned AMO journal Physical Review A — a journal recognized as a disciplinary excellence journal indexed by Nature Index.

In recent years, Dr. Li Ze’s group has focused on the interaction between magneto-optical modes and matter in the AMO field and has made a series of important advances with Inner Mongolia University as the first affiliation. Related achievements have been published in prestigious journals, including:

  • Physical Review A 110, 013516 (2024)

  • Optics Express 33 (14), 29146–29157 (2025)

  • The Journal of Physical Chemistry C 127, 3594–3601 (2023)

This latest publication further demonstrates the team’s growing influence in frontier optical physics research and highlights Inner Mongolia University's increasing academic presence in the field of light–matter interaction.
