The closing ceremony and an awards ceremony for the second Inner Mongolia monthly art and cultural activities for college students was held at Inner Mongolia University (IMU) in Hohhot, the capital city of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Dec 10.

According to local media reports, since the opening of the event Oct 25, various themed activities have been launched simultaneously in 58 colleges and universities in the autonomous region, further enriching the cultural lives of teachers and students, stimulating the patriotic enthusiasm and passion for hard work of young students, and playing a positive role in strengthening the college campus culture, and ideological and political education.

At the ceremony, leaders from the autonomous region presented awards to individuals or groups that won the top three prizes in various competitions and activities.
