IMU accredited as one of the International Science and Technology Cooperation Bases of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2022

On May 30, 2022, the Science and Technology Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region issued The Notice about the Accreditation of IMU and Other 12 Institutions as the International Science and Technology Cooperation Bases of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2022. IMU is accredited as “International Science and Technology Cooperation Base”. Prof. Li Yonghong, dean of the School of Ecology and Environment of IMU, is in charge of the base.

The purpose for the establishment of an international science and technology base is to bring into being a new cooperation pattern which is energetic, open and innovative, coordinate independent innovation and use of global scientific and technological resources, seek cooperation around the world and make the advantages of the partners concerned complementary to each other so as to be multiple-win. In the future, with the base, IMU will apply for “the demonstration project for introduction of foreign intelligent achievements” of China and win fund for the project so as to improve the internationalization of IMU.
