From July 13 to 14, 2023, the 18th National Conference on Remote Sensing, Telemetry and Telecontrol(NCRSTT) 2023 was held in Hohhot City. The theme of the conference is “Group Intelligence, Integration and Sharing”. It was hosted by such 10 institutions as IMU and the Sub-branch of Remote Sensing, Telemetry and Telecontrol of Chinese Institute of Electronics and organized by such 12 institutions as the School of Electronic Information and Engineering(SEIE) of IMU and the Key Laboratory of Applied Technologies of Aerospace Information, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation. Present at the conference were over 200 attendees that include the experts and scholars from government and circles, science and technology community, education community and enterprises and those from 30 universities across China. Gao Guanglai, vice president of IMU addressed the conference and delivered a keynote speech at the conference.

The conference focused on the latest developments in the field, gathered the wisdom of the experts and conducted in-depth academic exchanges. It was a grand academic conference in the fields of remote sensing, telemetry, telecontrol, satellite navigation and comprehensive application. The conference included such parts as conference report, the Forum on Aerospace-Technology-Empowered Digital Economy of Inner Mongolia (FATEDEIM), 5 sub-forums, special reports on development and release of the technological achievements. Wang Shubin, dean of SEIE, addressed FADTEDEIM and delivered a speech. Some of the teachers and postgraduate students attended the conference.
NCRSTT takes place every year to provide an open platform of exchange for the academic fields concerned, discuss the latest developments in technological research, teaching, production, application and management in remote sensing, telemetry, telecontrol, satellite navigation and comprehensive application and push forward the technological development, transformation of technologies and exchange and cooperation.
