On November 20, 2023, the acceptance appraisal was conducted on the spot for two regional science and technology major projects(Grant Nos. 2019ZD031, 2020ZD0008) which are titled “the State Key Laboratory of Reproductive Regulation and Breeding of Grassland Livestock” (SKLRRBGL)and that were undertaken by the state key laboratory co-built by the autonomous region government and the Ministry of Education. The acceptance appraisal meeting was chaired by the Center for Scientific and Technological Achievements Translation, the Department of Science and Technology, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The experts of the acceptance appraisal committee consist of 5 technology experts and 2 finance experts from Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, Inner Mongolia Shengjian Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Engineering Technology Research Co; Ltd. and the Institute of Grassland Research of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

Acceptance appraisal

The expert group for the acceptance appraisal carefully listened to the reports on the progress of the two major projects by Hu Wei, director of SKLRRBGL, checked the materials concerned and inspected on the site the laboratory and the construction of the large-scale instruments.

On-the-spot inspection

After enquiry and discussion, the experts of the acceptance appraisal group unanimously agreed that the tasks stipulated in the contract of the projects had been completed and enough funds allocated and used in compliance with the rules concerned while the projects were carried out. The two major projects were comprehensively graded “Excellent” and passed the acceptance appraisal.

The two major projects were launched to support the construction of SKLRRBGL. The fact that the projects passed the acceptance appraisal means that the partial achievements have been made in the construction of the laboratory and new progress have been made in the improvement of the capacity to build the discipline platform.
