Our school held the 9th National Symposium on Skeletal Muscle Biology

On July 25-29, the 9th National Symposium on Skeletal Muscle Biology was successfully held in Hohhot, hosted by the Cell and Gene Therapy Branch of the Chinese Society of Cell Biology, and co-organized by the Biomedical Research Institute, the School of Life Sciences of our university, and the State Key Laboratory of Reproductive Regulation and Breeding of Grassland Livestock jointly built by the province and ministry.

This conference invited more than 400 well-known experts and scholars in related fields from home and abroad to attend. The conference was opened by Prof. Zhu Dahai from the Max Planck Institute for Organizational Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Research Center at Guangzhou Bio Island Laboratory and the conference chairman. He stated that the successful holding of the 9th National Symposium on Skeletal Muscle Biology not only marks a new level of development in the field of skeletal muscle biology research in China, but also points out the direction for future research in this field and will make greater contributions to human health.

This seminar shared the latest scientific research achievements and cutting-edge technologies in this field, and explored future development directions. The conference set up multiple topics such as "Skeletal Muscle Stem Cells and Regeneration", "Skeletal Muscle Metabolism and Disease", "Skeletal Muscle Deficiency", "Sports Medicine", and "Animal Science". Everyone spoke freely and had lively discussions, creating a strong academic atmosphere.

The convening of this conference has opened up a new chapter in the progress of skeletal muscle biology research, promoted the in-depth development of this field, and contributed more wisdom and strength to the global health cause.
