On July 31st, Academician G. Q. Max Lu, President of the University of Surrey in the UK, was invited to visit our university.

On the morning of July 31st, President Wu Limin met with President G. Q. Max Lu and warmly welcomed his visit. He also briefly introduced the construction and development process of Inner Mongolia University. They both had in-depth discussions on further exchanges and cooperation between the two schools.

Vice President Dahu Baiyila, Dean of the Graduate School Zhao Haidong, Head of the Academic Affairs Office Xu Jin, Deputy Director (in charge) of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office Duan Manfu, and Dean of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Liu Jian accompanied the meeting.

On the afternoon of July 31st, Academician Lu Gaoqing gave an academic presentation titled "Functional Nanomaterials for Green Hydrogen Production and Storage" in Conference Room 8 of the Academic Conference Center. The report meeting was chaired by Vice President Prof. Dahu Baiyila, and several teachers and postgraduates from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, the Institute of Energy Materials Chemistry, and the School of Physical Science and Technology attended the meeting.
