On the morning of September 20, Prof. Chen Guoqing, Prof. Zhou Xuewen and Prof. Zhang Jun from the Minority Languages Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences came to IMU to conduct research on the topic of "The current status of language discipline development in colleges and universities in ethnic minority areas".

The National Language Promotion Base (Inner Mongolia University) organized a symposium on the current status of language application research in ethnic colleges and universities in the new era. Prof. Cui Rong, deputy director of the Social Science Department of IMU, Prof. Badmaodorsir and Dr. Wu Jinxing from the School of Mongolian Studies, A.P. Zhang Xin and A.P. Li Huixian, members of the language promotion base, and Dr. Xing Binyu from the School of International Education and other teachers attended the meeting.
