Our university has been approved for a key project of the National Key R & D Program "International Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation between Governments".

Recently, the key project "International Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation between Governments" of the National Key R & D Program, namely "Key Technologies for Microbial Pollution Control in the Production and Processing of Raw Milk", undertaken by Prof. Dongalidetu from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of our university as the project leader, has been approved and established by the Ministry of Science and Technology. This project is led by our university, and the three topics are respectively undertaken by Prof. Dongalidetu, Associate Prof. Wu Haixia, and Researcher Wang Cong from Dalian Polytechnic University. This is a new breakthrough in scientific research projects for the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of our university and the Engineering Research Center of Dairy Product Quality and Safety Control Technology of the Ministry of Education, which has a positive effect on enhancing the academic influence of the chemistry discipline of our university at home and abroad.

The cold sterilization technology, N-halamine disinfection technology, and on-site detection technology of pathogenic bacteria proposed in the three topics of this project are targeted prevention and control measures formulated for the sources of microbial pollution in raw milk and its production and processing process. By establishing a "sterilization - disinfection - detection" linked control technology system, it solves the problems of large destruction of milk nutrition and flavor by thermal sterilization technology, potential residues in production line disinfection technology, and poor timeliness of on-site detection technology, and has the advantages of high efficiency, energy saving, low cost, and simple operation. This project highlights the problem orientation, gives full play to the advantages of the livestock breeding industries of China and Mongolia, the endowment of characteristic plant resources, and the advantages of livestock science and technology innovation, produces a batch of technical achievements to solve the common problems of microbial pollution in raw milk, injects strong momentum into the development of new quality productivity of the dairy industry, and is of great significance for helping to safeguard the "main position" of national dairy product quality and safety.
