Recently, the first Experimental Digital Design Competition of the National College Students' Chemistry Experiment Innovation Design Competition was held at Shenyang Normal University. Relying on solid professional qualities and innovative abilities, the team representing our university stood out in the competition and won the second prize at the national level.
This competition was sponsored by the Chinese Chemical Society and the Joint Conference of National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers for Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education. It belongs to the Category A discipline competitions among national ordinary colleges and universities. A total of 103 outstanding teams from 78 colleges and universities across the country were selected to enter the final.
The participating team of our university was led by teachers from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and consisted of five undergraduate students from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, the School of Electronic Information Engineering and the School of Computer Science (School of Software). Based on China's national conditions and regional needs and combining the concepts of integrating science and education and integrating industry and education, the team developed a detection method for efficiently evaluating the effect of alkaline washing (organic matter residue) in the dairy industry and designed the work titled "Digital Design of a Handheld Rapid Detector for Organic Matter Residue in the Effect of Alkaline Washing in the Dairy Industry".
