An innovation center for the inheritance and development of the Mongolian ethnic minority group -- and other ethnic minorities from North China -- recently got the green light from authorities to be an autonomous regional level research platform.
According to the officials of Inner Mongolia University, or IMU, where the center will be built.
The construction of the collaborative innovation center aims to speed up the construction of "double first-class" disciplines in the autonomous region, promote the coordination of production and research, and vigorously improve the innovative abilities of talent and improve discipline and scientific research, officials said.
They added that the center will be led by IMU in partnership with Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, the University of Tokyo, the National University of Mongolia -- other domestic and international universities and research institutions -- and by relevant departments of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region,
