Eminent professor Jure Zovko, executive director of the Paris-based International Institute of Philosophy visited and gave insightful lectures at Inner Mongolia University in Hohhot, capital of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Nov 18-19.
According to IMU officials, the topics of the two academic presentations were "Socrates' socratic questioning" and "Husserl's concept of life world and philosophy of science".
They attracted the attendance of heads of IMU departments and students from the School of Philosophy.
In these two academic papers, professor Zovko discussed philosophical issues based on the classic texts of philosophy.
According to teachers and students that were present, his findings shined a light for them and provided a deeper understanding of the classical Greek philosopher’s approach and Husserl's concept of "life world".
