From August 25 to 27, 2023, the National Forum on the Discipline of Dynamics and Control 2023 was held in Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The forum was hosted by the Committee on Dynamics and Control of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and co-organized by such institutions as IMU and Beihang University. Prof. Meng Guang, deputy director of Shanghai Jiaotong University Council and chairman of the Committee on Dynamics and Control, acted as chairman of the forum. Present at the forum were over 60 experts and scholars from such over 30 renowned universities and research institutions at home as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Harbin Institute of Technology and Northwestern Polytechnical University.
On the morning of August 26, 2023, present at the opening ceremony were Hu Haiyan, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS), Meng Qingguo, deputy director of the Department of Mathematics and Sciences of the National Natural Science Foundation of China(DMSNNSFC), Zhang Panfeng, director of the Division of Mechanics of DMSNNSFC, Lei Tiangang, former director of the Division of Mechanics of DMSNNSFC, Guo Yongxin, president of Liaoning University, Baoyinhxi, executive vice president of Inner Mongolia University of Technology and Aotgen, vice president of Hulunbuir University. Hu Haiyan, Meng Qingguo, Meng Guang and Aotgen addressed the opening ceremony.
Wang Dayi, research fellow with the Overall Designing Division of the 5th Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, Liu Jiarun, research fellow with the Beijing Institute of Automatic Control of China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, Prof. Deng Yue with Beihang University and Gao Fei associate professor of Zhejiang University respectively delivered the keynote speeches. In addition, centering on the recent research results and the latest developments in the fields concerning the discipline of dynamics and control, the experts conducted in-depth exchanges in the current development and challenges of the discipline of dynamics and control, international cooperation in the discipline of dynamics and control, growth experience sharing of leading scholars at home and abroad, application of theories and engineering of dynamics and control and interdisciplinary integration and innovation in dynamics and control.
The forum has played an important role in improving the research in the discipline of dynamics and control at home, analyzing the major problems faced by the discipline of dynamics and control and further refining the future development plan and measures and made great contributions to advancing the development and wide application of the discipline of dynamics and control and the disciplines related to the discipline of dynamics and control.
